The Enerpac PUJ-1201B two-speed, three-way valve hydraulic electric pump is for lifting, bolting, or applying pressure at faster speeds and for longer periods of time than a hand pump in construction, manufacturing, and maintenance and repair applications that do not require load holding. It can advance a single-acting or a double-acting cylinder or power a hydraulic tool, and can hold a load. A non-adjustable internal pressure relief valve and an adjustable external pressure relief valve help protect the pump from overload. A thermal switch shuts down the motor when the oil temperature exceeds 150 degrees Fahrenheit (65 degrees Celsius). This two-speed pump is for applications where there is little or no load initially, but where increased force is needed when the load is applied. In the first stage, the pump supplies lower pressure with higher flow until a load is detected. Once a load is detected, the pump switches to the second stage, which supplies higher pressure and lower flow. The pump can start under full load and is intended for intermittent duty-cycle applications, such as punching. The pump's molded body helps protect it from damage due to bumps, abrasions, and contaminants, such as dirt and water. The valves have manual control to advance and retract a tool. It has a built-in handle for carrying the pump between locations. The pump has 3/8" National Pipe Taper (NPT) threaded input and output ports for connecting to a hose or gauge (sold separately).
